last minute deal. the cottage thing didn't work on account of the rain (thanks, gustav?) and possibly other stuff. it'll probably rain in toronto too, but at least i can get away and see people i don't get to see that much. i gotta pack real quick cause meyer is picking me up in 40 minutes.
p.s. i don't think crush boy #1 is gonna work out. he's in the mode post horrible breakup where you don't want to even think about romance or girls or sex. bad timing or what?
p.p.s. i've decided that watching grey's anatomy has made me heal my romantical side, and i will no longer hide it! i want romance.
there. that wasn't so bad.

my trip to toronto
we ate lots of meat and hardly any veggies.
we went sale shopping and modeled our new clothes in the mcdonalds ladies room.
we went to bistro 422 and got crunk off their long island iced tea pitchers ($12!)
we tried to keep warm and took public transportation a lot.
i saw live comedy for the first time and hung out with my friend nick.
all in all it was a lot of fun.

Trana
I'm officially on vacation. Til Tuesday evening anyways. I'm visiting with one of my best gal pals, Jenna and her partner in crime, Jeffrey. They moved to Toronto this past summer and gave me the perfect opportunity to visit this fair city, seeing as i barely know it (blasphemous, huh?!)
My memories of Toronto can pretty much be summed up by visits to my grandma's house as a kid, then later her condo, stopping abruptly at the age of 13. After that I've visited three time- at 16 with my school friend Melissa to our rock god du jour Beck and his Midnite Vultures tour at the Molson Ampitheater, a reunion visit with my grandmother at the age of 21 and a weekend visit roadie-ing with Seripop. All this to say- I haven't really had much experience in this city- I barely know the street names and neighbourhoods. But I'm here now, for 4-5 days, in this exotic land a lot of people call 'home'.
Pictures are likely to follow, once i haul my monitor down the stairs to the garbage, set up chrissy's old monitor with my 'puter and upload the bad boys i am posed to take.
